Who We Are: 

The PathFinder Organisation CIC is a non-profit created to support international students in the UK and beyond. We aim to create an inclusive, supportive environment where students can thrive academically, professionally, and personally. 

One of the ways we do this is by running programmes or bootcamps where international students can build on and enhance their skills as well as boost their confidence to help them navigate the UK job market. 

About the Bootcamp: 

The Sustainability Bootcamp- this is a one-day interactive event designed to help students and recent graduates explore career pathways in sustainability. 

Date: Thursday 11th July 2025
Time: 9:30am - 5:30pm
Location: University House G06, 116 Edgbaston Park Rd, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 2TY (on the University of Birmingham campus) 

Participants will: 

  • Hear from Rishi, a professional sustainability consultant with over 10+ years of experience, on what it is like to work in the field. 
  • Learn practical tools and frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS), ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Criteria, Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) and Root Cause Analysis tools like the Fishbone Diagram and 5 whys. 
  • Work in teams to tackle a real-world sustainability challenge. 
  • Present their ideas to a panel of judges and receive feedback from professionals. 

Who We Are Looking For: 

We’re inviting applications from curious, motivated students and recent graduates who want to explore how sustainability can be applied in the real world. You should be passionate about sustainability, solving real challenges, working in a team, and making a positive impact.
