CASE partners with world class universities and not-for-profit organisations to offer a unique hands-on learning experience. Graduate trainees will have the opportunity to explore a full range of functions within the organisation’s development office. You will learn the skills and knowledge to cultivate and manage philanthropic relationships as well as implement strategies to secure support. This includes gaining experience and developing skills in donor relations, prospect management, annual and regular giving, fundraising campaigns, major gifts, events and partnerships. You will also work with external organisations, potential donors while you develop an understanding of your organisation’s strategic goals and priorities. 

Who can apply: 

Highly focused and motivated individuals who: 

• Graduated or about to graduate 

• Have a demonstrable interest in fundraising, volunteering, communications or event management. 

• Previous experience of fundraising activities is desirable but not essential. 

The programme is also opened to new starters or current employees who wish to transition into a career in fundraising, in advancement.

Salary: As a guide the basic salary will be approximately £18,000 - £20,000 per annum outside London and £20,000 – £24,000 per annum in London. The salary will depend on each institution’s own pay and grading structure. The host institutions are asked to provide a salary of at least the minimum wage to trainees for the duration of the programme on a full-time basis. The trainee will be an employee of the host organisation for a 52-week period starting at the end of August. The organisation agrees to cover the trainee's salary, along with costs related to the programme management. This may vary depending on organisations and locations pay scale.
