London Business School is delighted to announce that we are hosting our annual flagship LBS x UCL Clean Tech Challenge in May 2022 and would love for your school to participate!
🌟What is the CleanTech Challenge (CTC)?
CTC is a global innovation and business plan competition that serves as a launchpad for cleantech business ideas. Teams of students across the globe develop a cleantech business idea over 3 months and compete for a chance to pitch their idea to win £10,000 toward developing their business.
⏰What is the timeline for CTC?
- Stage 1: All you need is an innovative Cleantech idea. Submit a 200-word pitch by 30March 2022, clearly outlining (i) the idea, (ii) cleantech impact, and (iii) why it would be commercially viable.
- Stage 2: Selected teams will be asked to develop their idea and pitch requirements by 20 April2022. The pitch will be reviewed by prospective investors.
- Stage 3: Finalists will undergo training from industry experts from the environmental, entrepreneurial and science sectors over the course of May. Bootcamp finals take place between 31 May – 01 June where finalists present a 10-minute pitch.
💼Who can participate?
The Challenge is open to all current university students (undergraduate and postgraduate) enrolled in a degree programme at a recognised Higher Education Institution anywhere in the world as of 1 January 2022. Students can create teams of 2-5 people.
