The awards have been running since 2009 and are a brilliant way to connect with big-name organisations such as HSBC and Rolls-Royce and be in with a chance of winning prestigious internships and placements. Each award is completely different and is open to all courses from all universities across the UK.

The awards aren’t about what you’re studying and where, but the skills and qualities you embody as an individual.

To be in with the chance of winning exclusive prizes, apply online via the Undergraduate of the Year awards website. The application process is straight-forward and is made up of three sections:

  • Personal information
  • Essay style questions
  • Psychometric tests.

The process has been specifically created to mirror those you may experience in the graduate scheme application processes. Successful undergraduates will be invited to attend an assessment centre with the award partner, and the shortlist will be invited to a grand award ceremony in London on 29 April 2022.

Even if you aren’t a winner the awards are a perfect way to practice for applying to graduate schemes and everyone who completes the online tests will receive feedback. Those who make it to the assessment centres will have the chance to network with likeminded individuals and business professionals, and again practice the skills needed post-graduation.

And who knows, you might even win!
