Are you considering a career at the Bar?
Gray’s Inn has funding available to support students pursuing a career at the Bar. We are currently accepting Bar Course Scholarship applications from those intending to study a full, part-time or two-part Bar course during the 2022/2023 academic year.
Bar Course Scholarship funding ranges from £5,000 to £30,000. All Bar Course scholars will receive a minimum of £5,000 before being invited to apply for additional means-tested funding, and will also have the opportunity to interview for a Residential Scholarship.

Applications are now open. The application deadline is Friday 5 November 2021. Interviews are scheduled to take place between 7 - 9 March 2022.
Scholarship Q&A webinars
Further details about our scholarships, including our merit assessment criteria, are available on our website. We also recommend attending one of our Q&A webinars, on either 12 or 28 October. This will give you the opportunity to get advice from our scholarship panel members on what makes a successful application and to hear from recent scholars about their experience of applying. These sessions are online and free to attend. If you would like to attend, please complete the registration form.
