We are delighted to invite you to the 8annual PhD to Consulting Conference, which will now be FREE for all students worldwide. The PhD to Consulting conference will now be a virtual conference, held via Microsoft Teams delivered by Imperial College London, United Kingdom, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (GMT + 1) on Friday the 25th September 2020.
The PtC20 is a one-day annual event organised by and targeted at doctoral and post-doctoral researchers who are interested in consulting. This conference is open to all PhD students and Postdocs, ranging from those who would simply like to explore their career options, obtain a summer internship during their PhD or obtain a consulting position in a renowned company. Notably, over the years, a number of PhD students have successfully secured consulting positions with the presenting companies post-PhD. We believe that this conference serves to aid a facile transition between PhD students and the consulting industry.
The PtC conferences attract top global general consulting companies and their recruitment teams, as well as leading boutique consultancies from a range of specialised sectors including, but not limited to, the humanities, life sciences and healthcare, energy and engineering, management and economics. For this year’s conference, confirmed presenting companies include Alacrita, BloombergNEF, Blue Matter, BTS, Cambridge Healthcare Research, Eradigm, Guidehouse, IBM, IQVIA, L.E.K, Newton, Prescient, TTP plc and Rystad Energy. Currently, we already have more than 550 students signed up to the event (and still rising) from 6 different continents. There will also be a virtual networking session where students can interact with each other and the various consulting companies.
